Setu Advertising announces Springboard, a series of creative workshops.

Pune, December 2, 2015: To nurture creativity among city-based advertising professionals, to expand their horizons of the advertising world and to enhance their knowledge of allied fields,
Setu Advertising – a Pune based advertising agency – announced the launch of Springboard, a unique learning platform that promises to be a masterclass of ideas.

On the occasion of completion of 30 years in the industry, Setu Advertising is set to organise workshops, conducted by industry experts; on a wide range of aspects related to photography, designing, writing and digital media. Mr. Rutuparna Sharad Deshpande, Director, Setu Advertising, made these announcements during an interaction with the media. Directors of the agency,
Mr. Rugwed Sharad Deshpande and Mr. Nilesh Sule, were also present at the event.

Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Deshpande said, “Today, every individual’s job profile and role is strictly defined. As a result, it has become difficult for an individual to pursue one’s interests. Over the years, creative fields in Pune have evolved a lot. This includes advertising and design agencies, theatre groups and film studios. In fact, the work done in Pune is getting noticed more, as compared to the last decade. We felt the need for a city-based learning platform that would allow professionals and aspiring students from these fields to stay updated and have greater access to lateral learning. We believe that Springboard will cater to this growing need in Pune.”

He added, “In all, 12 workshops will be organized in the next one year and will be conducted by respected names such as, noted screenwriter Anjum Rajabali, Prof. Mandar Rane from IDC, IIT-Powai, acclaimed street photographers Swapnil Jedhe and Swarat Ghosh and reputed stop-motion animator Mukund Bhaleghare.  As a part of Springboard, International Social Media Day will be organized and celebrated in Pune, on a grand scale, involving a large number of social media enthusiasts. To allow students to experience these unique workshops, special rates will be offered to them, as workshop fees.  Through these initiatives, Pune’s creative minds will get invaluable guidance from some of the best names in the industry.”

The workshop schedule will be as follows:

1. Street Photography – 12th and 13th December 2015
2. Professional Screenwriting – 9th January 2016
3. Visual Order – 13th February 2016
